The 2019 Oscars were not short on talent. Films like Black Panther, Roma, A Star Is Born, The Favourite, and BlacKkKlansman garnered worldwide acclaim and plenty of Oscar buzz. Yalitza Aparicio became this year's breakout star with her acting debut in Alfonso Cuarón's Roma, while Spike Lee earned his first Oscar nomination ever for directing BlacKkKlansman. In the end, names like Mahershala Ali, Olivia Colman, Regina King, and Rami Malek went home with gold.

But not every one of these names and films can win glory come Oscars night. With this year's Academy Awards all said and done, there's nothing left to do but look ahead. The names behind the buzziest films of the year will move on to new projects, and not all of them will be for the big screen.

In 2019, A Star Is Born's Lady Gaga will most like focus on her Las Vegas residency and a new album. Bradley Cooper will transform back into an animated raccoon for Avengers: Endgame, and Adam Driver will head to Broadway. Here are the TV shows, movies, stage productions, and new projects this year's crop of Oscar nominees will be looking towards when Oscars night is over.
